“He ran into some difficulties here, but has the quality to do well. He just has to believe in himself.”
The 23-year-old moved from Flamengo to Milan in January 2019 for €38m plus bonuses, but never really lived up to that price-tag.
He struggled to find a role within the squad and managed only one goal with three assists in 44 competitive games for the Rossoneri.
Lyon are expected to announce the transfer in a press conference this evening.
