Milan coach Stefano Pioli has been named Serie A’s Coach of the Month for October 2021 after five wins in five games.

The Rossoneri, who are yet to win in the Champions League, are flying in Serie A this term and sit first with Napoli after 10 wins in 11 games.

Pioli composed five wins in five games and the Lega Serie A has named the Diavolo tactician the best coach of the last month.

Milan are currently preparing for the Derby della Madonnina against Inter and hope to start the new month with another win against their arch-rivals.

  1. Just going off Serie A appearances I would agree. Can’t argue with 5 wins out of 5, but the performances themselves have left a lot to be desired.

  2. Well deserved. I love it when someone proves all the Doom sayers wrong. I have to admit on Pioli’s announcement as manager a few years ago I like most Rossonero didn’t think he was anything but a stop gap. I’m glad I’m wrong and I hope he stays for many years.

  3. @Chris Agree some of the performances haven’t been great but playing like that and still winning is a good sign. Plus some of the better performances have been very encouraging, full of that old Milan arrogance.

  4. Many are talking quite a bit about the UCL performance, without taking into account the toughness of the group, injuries, Inexperience at that level and the players Milan have, who are good players, but not really world class. Milan is a TEAM bigger than the sum of its parts, the players themselves are not stars, but together they make a good team.
Five from Five…..Now they are out of Europe, focus remains on The league only
