Lazio Coach Stefano Pioli says Ravel Morrison “has struggled” since moving to Italy.
The England Under-21 international impressed in pre-season, but has been left out of the matchday squad altogether in recent weeks.
In the Press conference ahead of the match with Genoa, it was put to Pioli that Morrison had been the most impressive of the new recruits in pre-season, but the Coach doesn’t see it that way.
“I respect your opinion, but he has struggled” Pioli replied.

“He has to work harder for the team. He’s had a niggling injury and he still doesn’t speak a word of Italian.
“This has slowed his development and his integration in the squad.”
