Stefano Pioli wants Milan to ‘move the ball around quickly’ to unlock the rugged Roma defence, insisting there is ‘no risk’ of the Champions League being a distraction.

“Serie A is too important, Roma are having a good season, so there is no risk of being distracted by the Champions League,” Pioli told DAZN when asked if the upcoming showdown with Inter will have an influence.
“Against such a well-organised, solid and focused defence, we need to move the ball around quickly, find those channels and also try individual moves, as getting past a man in their defence could be decisive.”
Roma came back from 2-0 down at San Siro in January, making the most of their capabilities from set plays, which is why Tammy Abraham and Andrea Belotti start this evening.
