Stefano Pioli celebrated victory over Fiorentina, but warned Bologna are still mired in the fight to avoid relegation.
“We achieved a great victory against a quality team, but are still a long way off our objective,” said the Coach.
The Viola had gone 1-0 up, but Marco Motta and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos turned it around for a 2-1 win at the Dall’Ara.
“I only made two interventions during the half-time break, one was tactical and the other motivational, but the lads responded well.
“We tried to be aggressive against Fiorentina, but they have so much quality. The fact we were so disorganised in the first half certainly helped them, as they are one of the best teams we have faced.”
Bologna are now eight points clear of the drop zone, sitting in 14th place.
