Stefano Pioli assures Inter won’t underestimate Pescara on Saturday – “the most important game is always the next one”.

The Delfini are bottom of the table with just nine points from 21 games, and appear to be relegation certainties.

By contrast, the Nerazzurri have won their last eight games in a row in all competitions, but their Coach won’t be underestimating this weekend’s opponents.

By contrast, the Nerazzurri have won their last eight games in a row in all competitions, but their Coach won’t be underestimating this weekend’s opponents.

“We’re focused on this game and on the table and we want to keep our winning run going,” Pioli said in his pre-match Press conference.

“The most important game is always the next one and we want to continue our good form. Even in Palermo everyone assumed we’d win but instead it was a really tough game.

“We want to give our best on Saturday, and it’s only after that we’ll think about other things.

“All I know is that every game has to be addressed with great care, Pescara have taken less point than they’ve deserved because they’ve played good football.

“It’ll be a tricky game, but we have to play attentively.

Juventus? Now I’m thinking about Pescara, we’ll think about that when the time is right.”

Pioli was then asked who would play the match.

“At the moment everyone is available, they’re all fine except [Jeison] Murillo who must be evalauted. Everyone is available for selection.

“Murillo? It’s just a bit of a cold and he didn’t train. We’ll see how he is tomorrow.”

The Beneamata have played a lot of games recently, and face Lazio in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday.

“Every match is an important milestone for our growth, of course the Coppa game is an in-or-out one, but we’re preparing ourselves so that we’re ready for it.”
