Stefano Pioli was given a special memento to mark his 100th match on the Milan bench. ‘I expect to reach at least another 100 more.’

The tactician reached the milestone with a 4-2 victory away to Bologna on Saturday.

His record with the Rossoneri is now of 58 victories, 23 draws and 19 defeats in all competition, his team scoring 202 goals and conceding 126.

He was presented with the gift by director Paolo Maldini in front of the squad during today’s training session at Milanello.

Pioli was drafted in to replace fired Marco Giampaolo and made his debut against Lecce on October 20, 2019.

Maldini noted these are “the first 100 of many more, a number it’s hard to calculate today what figure it will be.”

Pioli accepted among applause and waved it to his players.

“This might sound like a threat for someone, but I expect to reach at least another 100 more.”
