Milan coach Stefano Pioli said he looks forward to having Junior Messias and Tiemoue Bakayoko available.

The Brazilian Messias joined Milan from Crotone this summer, while French midfielder Bakayoko arrived on loan from Chelsea.

But the duo had a difficult start with their new club, as Bakayoko suffered a muscle injury after playing in the 2-0 win against Lazio.

Messias was struggling with fitness problems too and returned to action in the last 16 minutes of the 3-2 win over Atalanta last time.

Pioli said he looks forward to having the duo available for action and expects to see more of the two after the international break.

“I can’t wait for Messias and Bakayoko to recover,” Pioli told Il Giornale. “Messias has qualities, he is intelligent and will amaze.

“He’s capable of playin in two roles.”

Milan continue against Hellas Verona on October 16, before playing FC Porto away in the Champions League three days later.
