Stefano Pioli is “glad” Lazio are on the verge of signing Lyon defender Milan Bisevac.
The Serbian centre-back flew into Rome this morning to undergo his Aquile medical, and the Coach is pleased to have a defensive reinforcement.
“He’s a reliable player, with great personality and he’s intelligent,” Pioli told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the Carpi game.

“Those are things I need. I can only give a full assessment once I’ve seen him train, but I’m glad that the first face has arrived at almost the start of the window.
“Will he play tomorrow? I don’t know if there will be issues relating to his registration, it’s more likely we’ll see him in the next few games.
“The rest of January? The club knows what my needs are, so I expect the club to address them, they’re already doing what’s right for the team.”
Lucas Biglia, Antonio Candreva and Felipe Anderson have been linked with an exit, does Pioli fear losing some of his stars?
“I’m not afraid of losing big names, but I must say I have my own way of approaching the transfer window.
“There are roles: the Coach must train the players and give guidance, the club is responsible for buying and selling.”
