After Cristiano Biraghi, now Fiorentina Coach Stefano Pioli has chosen to remember Davide Astori forever with a tattoo in his honour.
The 31-year-old captain died in his sleep last month ahead of a planned Serie A match against Udinese.
This week, teammate Biraghi showed on social media that he had a tattoo to remember Astori by, namely a black ribbon in sign of mourning and the hashtag #DA13 – representing his initials and the number of his jersey.

Now Coach Pioli has also decided to mark the memory permanently on his skin, as confirmed by the Instagram post of a tattoo studio in Florence.
