Atalanta striker Mauricio Pinilla received a three-match ban for kicking Migjen Basha of Torino in an off the ball incident.
Both players were sent off during the final minutes of Saturday’s Serie A match at the Stadio Azzurri d’Italia.
Basha had flicked Pinilla’s face and the Chilean reacted by chasing him down and aiming a strong kick at the back of his leg.
The Disciplinary Commission has given Pinilla a three-match ban, while Basha has only a one-game suspension.

As reported earlier, Roma will have to play their next home match with the Curva Sud closed due to insulting banners aimed at the mother of shot Napoli fan Ciro Esposito.
The club has also been fined €12,000 for this incident plus repeated use of radio transmitters between Coach and staff in the stands and for allowing ball boys to slow the game down.
