Lamine Yamal appeared to hit back at ex-Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot after Spain’s 2-1 win over France in the EURO 2024 semifinals.

Spain are the first EURO 2024 finalist as La Roja beat Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan’s France 2-1 on Tuesday.

Randal Kolo Muani had given France the lead in the opening stages, but Spain reacted with goals from Yamal and Dani Olmo before the break.

Seconds after the final whistle, Yamal appeared to hit back at ex-Juventus star Rabiot, who had said on the eve of the game that the Barcelona starlet “needed to do more.”

Yamal looked at the camera and said: “speak now,” probably referring to Rabiot’s claims.

Rabiot’s contract with Juventus expired on June 30, but the Bianconeri still hope to persuade the Frenchman to sign a new deal at the Allianz Stadium.

The Serie A giants have signed Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram to strengthen their midfield and have set their sights on Atalanta‘s Teun Koopmeiners.
