Former Roma and Inter coach Jose Mourinho was one on an impressive list of celebrities present at the Egypt Cup final on Friday evening, accompanied by Roma legend Francesco Totti and former Inter and Milan striker Ronaldo.

Ahead of kick-off, Mourinho was the designated VIP tasked with bringing the trophy onto the pitch of the KSU Stadium in Saudi Arabia, where the final was being played.

He was followed by Totti and Ronaldo, who were wearing Zamalek and Al-Ahly shirts, in honour of the two teams competing in Friday’s final.

Al-Ahly were the eventual winners in Riyadh thanks to a pair of late goals from Emam Ashour in the 86th minute and Mohamed Magdy in the 94th.
