Sandro Tonali has started his medical with Newcastle United in Romania, where he was joined by his agents and the Magpies Chief Scout Steve Nickson.
The Italy international is on international duty with the Azzurrini for the U21 EURO and played 90 minutes against France on Thursday.
La Gazzetta dello Sport leaked the first picture of Tonali before beginning his medical with the Magpies.
The picture shows him with his representatives Giuseppe Riso and Marianna Mecacci and Newcastle’s Chief Scout Nickson.
