Napoli defender Juan Jesus took to social media to express his indignation and fear after thieves broke his car’s window in an attempt to steal it, claiming he won’t feel safe ‘ever again’ in the city.

The Italo-Brazilian player posted a video on his Instagram profile showing a broken rear window and the inside of his vehicle, which was clearly messy after someone tried to ransack it.

A text accompanying the footage said the attempted theft came after the player was ‘tailed’ for one month: “Zero safety,” the player wrote.

“After almost one month of being tailed, today they tried to steal my car. What a bad feeling, you make me vomit!”.

Juan Jesus went on to publish a second Instagram story explaining why he can’t feel safe anymore in Napoli.

“What happened tonight is just the icing on the cake, in the space of one month I found as many as five air tags (geo-tracker) inside my car,” he added.

“And just knowing that these criminals know where I live doesn’t bring me serenity, unluckily I won’t feel safe ever again in such a beautiful city.

“I know that material goods are of secondary importance, but knowing that a stranger violated a personal belonging really makes me sick.”
