Fiorentina striker Lucas Beltran has shared a photograph from a recent dinner he shared with Viola and Serie A legend Gabriel Batistuta.
The compatriots met in the centre of Tuscany, along with fellow Argentina and Fiorentina youngster Gino Infantino, where they ate and shared experiences of life in Florence, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Nico Gonzalez and Lucas Martinez Quatra would have likely also been invited, but both are currently away on international duty with Argentina.
Beltran, who moved to Fiorentina from River plate in a deal worth in excess of €20m this summer, shared the photograph to his instagram story along with the caption: “an immense pleasure.”
La Gazzetta also notes that Beltran is currently the favourite to lead the line for Fiorentina against Milan at the weekend, preferred to M’Bala Nzola.
