Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot criticised referee Antonio Rapuano on Instagram, suggesting that Salernitana midfielder Tonny Vilhena deserved a red card for a rough tackle.
The France international made his unhappiness clear on social media on Wednesday morning, the day after Juventus’ 3-0 win over Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi on Tuesday.
Rabiot posted a picture of a reckless tackle of Salernitana midfielder Vilhena suggesting that his opponent deserved to be sent off.
The picture was surrounded by red card emojis and the logo of AIA, the Italian Referees’ Association.
