Romelu Lukaku didn’t get a warm reception from his ex-teammate Lautaro Martinez at San Siro this evening as the Argentinean didn’t even look at the Roma striker in the eyes before Inter-Roma.
Lukaku was booed by Inter fans who arrived at the Stadio Meazza with 40,000 whistles to put pressure on their ex-striker on his first game as an opponent against the Nerazzurri.
Lautaro, a former teammate of Lukaku at Inter, didn’t seem quite happy to reunite with the Belgian forward either as El Toro didn’t even look at him in the eyes when the teams arrived on the pitch to shake hands before kick-off.
Inter eventually secured a 1-0 win thanks to a Marcus Thuram goal and climbed back to the top of the Serie A table.
