Saturday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport depicted Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini as the fifth Beatle, celebrating La Dea’s 3-0 win at Anfield.

La Gazzetta dello Sport depicted Atalanta coach Gasperini as one of the Beatles walking across the zebra in the iconic Abbey Road in London, celebrating the Italian tactician’s feats in the city of Liverpool, the birthplace of the English rock band.

His Atalanta side, in fact, won three times from three in Liverpool, twice against the Reds and once against Everton in November 2017.

On Thursday, his Atalanta side became the first Serie A club to win twice at Anfield, the third one in Europe after La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

La Gazzetta dello Sport compared Atalanta’s win over Liverpool to other legendary results for Serie A clubs, like Milan‘s 5-0 win over Real Madrid in the 1988-89 Champions League.

At the same time, the pink paper warned La Dea that the Reds already came back from three goals down in the 2005 Champions League Final against Milan in Istanbul.
