Fiorentina‘s Sofyan Amrabat posted a cryptic message on Instagram while multiple reports link the midfielder with a move to Barcelona: ‘Go for it now, the future is promised to no one.’

The Morocco international was one of the best players at the World Cup in Qatar, attracting interest from several top clubs in Europe, from Liverpool to Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Spanish media reported on Monday night that the La Liga giants were ready to sign Amrabat on loan with an obligation to buy. The same was confirmed by Corriere Fiorentino this morning, but Fiorentina are unwilling to sell.

The ex-Hellas Verona midfielder has just dropped a cryptic message on his social media, which appears to suggest he would consider leaving the Stadio Franchi.

“Go for it now,” he wrote on his Instagram stories at around 15.30 GMT on Tuesday. “The future is promised to no one.”

Amrabat didn’t train with the team this morning. His contract expires in 2024, but Fiorentina have an option to extend his stay by one more season.
