Milan star Rafael Leao reacted after seeing his former teammate Charles De Ketelaere score for Belgium and hit Ben Shelton’s phone celebration.
CDK imitated Shelton’s celebration after finding the net in Belgium’s 5-0 win over Estonia on Tuesday.
He posted three pictures of his celebration on Instagram, adding a phone emoji. It received hundreds of likes and comments including one from his ex-Milan teammate Rafael Leao. The Portuguese star wrote: ‘My boy’ with a heart emoji. It was not the first time the Portuguese publicly backed CDK.
Leao had already praised his ex-teammate in June after seeing a CDK trivela pass while on international duty.
De Ketelaere would leave Milan after a couple of months, joining Atalanta on loan. The Belgian has one goal and one assist in the opening three Serie A games of 2023-24.
