Federico Chiesa was not included in the Italy squad for Nations League games against France and Israel in September, but he was delighted to see his teammates win in Paris last night.
New Liverpool winger Chiesa reacted on Instagram to Italy’s win over France on Friday night.
The Italy international had been training separately at Juventus for the whole summer, so he could not be called up for September matches.
However, the 26-year-old still feels very much involved in the Spalletti project and celebrated a historic 3-1 win over France.
Chiesa shared this picture below as an Instagram story, using four joyful emojis to highlight his happiness.
Chiesa made his senior Italy debut in 2018 and has scored seven goals in 51 international matches.
