Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu responded to abuse from Milan fans with an Instagram post on Monday, just after winning the Serie A title with Inter.
Serie A giants Inter won the Scudetto for the 20th time on Monday after beating Milan 1-0 in a derby della Madonnina at the Stadio Meazza.
Nerazzurri star Calhanoglu, a former Milan midfielder, responded to abuse from his ex-fans with an Instagram post in which he appeared with the Scudetto cup and headphones, with angry fans and Milan’s Dome in the background.
The angry supporters do not wear red and black colours but hold insulting banners like ‘clown’ and ‘traitor.’
Calhanoglu’s social media post came with a message as well: ‘Always calm, always patient, always focused and now rewarded.’
Calhanoglu joined Inter on a free transfer from Milan in 2021 and has often been insulted by Milan fans at the stadium and on social media after his transfer.
The Turkey international has scored 13 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions this season.

As milanista, I feel ashamed some milanisti still making a big deal outta this. The guy made his choice, leave him be. Besides, no such thing as loyalty in football anymore. Worse thing is, these milanisti are worshipping Ibra who obviously is worse than Hakan when it comes to “loyalty”.
I agree Davide!
Exactly why the heck they worship Ibra who once played for Inter? What about Pirlo and Seedorf?
