Krzysztof PiÄ…tek is ready to begin his fourth spell in Serie A, joining Salernitana on loan from Herta Berlin, reports in Italy claim.
The Poland international is expected to land in Italy today to complete an initial loan move from Herta, according to Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The deal comes with an option to buy for the Granata and Herta will pay part of the striker’s salary during his loan spell at the Stadio Arechi.
Piatek has already played with Genoa, Milan and Fiorentina in Serie A.
He spent the second part of last season on loan at the Stadio Franchi, scoring six goals in 18 appearances across all competitions.
