Genoa striker Krzysztof Piątek has been warned and fined €2,000 for diving to try and win a penalty.

The Pole has been in sensational form so far this season, and has already reached double figures in all competitions.

Piątek continued his scoring run against Chievo on Wednesday, but the Lega Serie A has warned him and handed him a €2,000 fine for “simulating having been subjected to a foul in the opposition penalty area”.
