Photo: Schuurs sparks transfer speculation after watching Inter-Milan at San Siro

Torino defender Perr Schuurs was in attendance at San Siro as Inter beat Milan 1-0 in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night, adding to the speculation that he could be in line for a ‘big’ move in the summer transfer window.

Schuurs was sat next to his agent George Gardi on the night, who uploaded a photo to his instagram story of the two of them together in the stands of the Stadio Meazza.

The young Dutchman has impressed with his performances under Ivan Juric since arriving from Ajax for a €9.4m fee in August of 2022 and has since been linked with another move to a number of different clubs across Europe.

There has been reported interest from the Premier League, namely from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in recent weeks, where he would likely line up next to one of his compatriots at centre-half, either with Sven Botman on Tyneside, or Virgil van Dijk at Anfield.

After watching the game from the stands at San Siro on Tuesday, many believe that either Inter or Milan, if not both, could be interested in making a move to sign the 23-year-old in the summer.

Tuttomercato reports that whatever happens before the end of the season, Schuurs will be one of the hottest properties on the Serie A market in the upcoming transfer window.
