Lazio have set their sights on centre-forward Andrea Petagna after his agent hinted he could leave Atalanta.
The striker turns 23 later this month, but is already a Serie A veteran with 69 games under his belt.
Curiously for a forward, his goal-scoring tally is poor, netting only nine times compared to 16 assists.
This season, he has contributed six goals and nine assists between Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia.

Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia both claim Lazio Coach Simone Inzaghi requested Petagna as a reinforcement for the attack, appreciating his work ethic and build-up play.
“Andrea had a strong campaign, he improved further, even though he had a physical problem from November. I think he can represent the future of the Italy side,” agent Beppe Riso told RMC Sport.
“He certainly has a lot of sway on the market. He is very fond of Atalanta and Gian Piero Gasperini, but we’ll see what happens.”
