Sky Sport Italia reports Atalanta‘s Matteo Pessina has replaced Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi in the Italy squad for Euro 2020.
The broadcaster reports Italy have included Pessina in the list of 26 players to participate in the European Championship.
He will replace Sensi, who suffered a muscle injury during training with the national team last week.
UEFA has, according to the report, given Italy the official go ahead for the substitution ahead of the first game on June 11, when the Azzurri play Turkey at the Olimpico.
