Napoli abandoned talks for Gianluca Caprari and now “he’s close to joining Inter,” confirmed Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani.
The striker, who turns 23 next month, had been on the verge of completing a transfer to the Partenopei.
“There was interest from Napoli and I’d have liked very much to see him wear their jersey, but Napoli never got back to us, so it looks like he won’t be going there,” Sebastiani told Club Napoli All News.
“Inter? Yes, Gianluca is close to joining the Nerazzurri.”

Caprari grew up in the Roma youth academy and is a support striker.
This season he helped Pescara to promotion from Serie B with 13 goals and 12 assists in 38 games.
