The Croatian’s contract expires in 2022 and the 32-year-old has proven to be an asset at left for coach Antonio Conte.

Perisic won the treble with Bayern Munich last term and has helped Inter lift their first Scudetto in 11 years this term.

He has played 29 games in Serie A, contributing three goals and five assists from the wing-back, and FCInterNews reports the Croatia international has entered talks with the Nerazzurri regarding a contract extension for a further year at San Siro.

Perisic reportedly said no to an offer from Hertha Berlin in January, as he was convinced he could be a protagonist at the Nerazzurri.
