The winger was pursued by Manchester United this summer, but manager Jose Mourinho appeared to admit today that a deal won’t happen.
Now Premium Sport is reporting that an agreement has been reached for a new contract, increasing the Croatian’s salary from €3m per season to €5.5m.

Now Premium Sport is reporting that an agreement has been reached for a new contract, increasing the Croatian’s salary from €3m per season to €5.5m.
That’s still below the €7m offered by the Red Devils, but the English club wouldn’t meet the Nerazzurri’s €50m asking price so Perisic has accepted that a move won’t happen.
It’s expected the new contract will run until 2021, a one year extension to his current deal.
