Mattia Perin insists Juventus will have a very different game against Inter in the Coppa Italia Final compared to the Supercoppa defeat.

The Final kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The winner will be decided after 90 minutes, or if needed extra time and even penalties.

These sides already faced off in January for the Supercoppa Italiana, with Inter winning thanks to an Alexis Sanchez strike in the final seconds of extra time, just as a shoot-out seemed to be looming.

“The Supercoppa was an important evening, but that game is in the past. Now we have to focus on putting in a great performance this evening,” Perin told Sport Mediaset.

Coach Max Allegri said in his press conference that for Juventus the Coppa Italia was usually the cherry on the cake of the season, but this time round it’s the whole cake.

“I don’t think we need this to save the season,” replied the goalkeeper.

“Obviously, we can add a plus to our campaign this evening. It’s a Final and both teams will give 101 per cent.”
