Serie B will be shown live on the internet for the next three seasons after Perform won its domestic broadcast rights.
The deal was confirmed at an assembly held by Lega Serie B, with a decision on whether Mediaset or Rai will televise games on a Friday night on July 10.
Although no financials have been disclosed to the Press, Serie B is expected to earn more than the €22m it pocketed from Sky for the 2017-18 campaign in each of the next three years.

Perform has also announced that it will broadcast the matches on its streaming platform DAZN for customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada and Japan, as well as Italy, at a monthly rate of €9.99, with the first month free.
It comes just two weeks after the media giant won Serie A’s rights for the same period in conjunction with Sky.
