Roberto Pereyra’s agent Federico Pastorello confirms he’s held talks with Inter as the ex-Udinese and Juventus midfielder wants to remain in Serie A.
Pereyra’s contract with Udinese expired on June 30, so he’s available as a free agent.
“We haven’t received satisfying offers at the moment, not even from abroad. The lad would prefer to stay in Italy,” his agent Pastorello told Calciomercato.it.
“We’ve only had contact with Inter. He’s a player they like, but there is nothing concrete at the moment.”
According to Calciomercato.com, Inter would only sign Pereyra if Stefano Sensi leaves and the club fail to get a young replacement such as former Pereyra’s teammate Lazar Samardzic.
Pereyra has played for Juventus and Udinese in Serie A, scoring 25 goals in 224 appearances in Italy’s top flight.
