Bruno Peres is back training with Roma after 18 months away and could be reinstated to their squad.

Peres has returned from a long-term loan spell in his native Brazil, first joining Sao Paulo in July 2018.

However, he dropped into the second tier with Sport Recife in October after a lack of game time.

The 29-year-old is now hoping to work his way into Paulo Fonseca’s plans, having trained with the Giallorossi’s first team this morning.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website claims he will be registered to play in Serie A and could therefore be called up to face Torino tomorrow.

Roma have several players out, including Justin Kluivert, Bryan Cristante, Javier Pastore, Davide Zappacosta and Davide Santon.

They paid Torino €12.5m to sign the full-back in the summer of 2016.
