Roma full-back Bruno Peres insists their Europa League group “seems easy, but it’s not”.
The Giallorossi travel to the Czech Republic today to face Viktoria Plzen tomorrow, and also face Astra Giurgiu and Austria Wien in Group E.
“We have to play like we did in the second half [with Sampdoria],” Peres told Roma Match Program.
“We know it’s an important game, but a difficult one. It’ll take the spirit of the second half against Sampdoria to win the game.

“We know it’s an important game, but a difficult one. It’ll take the spirit of the second half against Sampdoria to win the game.
“It’s a difficult group, it seems easy but it’s not, on the pitch it’s totally different. You have to do well to win games. I believe we have the ability to play a very good group and get to the end.”
The introduction of Francesco Totti changed the game on Sunday, with the captain providing an assist for Edin Dzeko and scoring the winner from the penalty spot.
“Yes, it’s true. With Totti on the pitch everything is different, he’s a legend. He always makes the difference and it’s important for us that he’s there.”
The Brazilian was also asked about the Lupi’s goals for this season.
“Roma have a strong team,” Peres assured.
“We have to try and fight for the Scudetto, to always be among the top positions in the table. That’s what my teammates and I keep in mind. We’re sure we’ll succeed.
“We’re working hard, we’re trying to figure out where we’ve gone wrong and improve.
“We’re aware of our strength, the [Champions League] elimination with Porto was a shame, but we’re convinced we can do well and achieve our objectives.”
