Atalanta President Antonio Percassi won’t talk about the Scudetto race but stressed the Orobici always ‘play to win’.

La Dea have continued their impressive form in Serie A with three wins in three games and sit top during the international break.

La Dea have continued their impressive form in Serie A with three wins in three games and sit top during the international break.

Percassi has claimed the Orobici are not interested in being talked into the Scudetto battle with Inter and Juventus this season, and said he will evaluate their position in spring.

“Why should I talk about the Scudetto? If you lose two games, then you are the presumptuous who crashed,” Percassi told L’Eco di Bergamo.

“I won’t rank Atalanta, it’s not the year. Many teams have strengthened. Juventus and Inter above all, Napoli are closer too.

“Then there’s the group of those who aim for Europe, and the surprises. We must always play to win. Then in spring, we’ll have a look and understand where we are.”
