With Nicolas Pepe seemingly going to Arsenal, Napoli are turning their focus back to PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano.

Multiple sources in England and Italy today claim that although Napoli met Lille’s €80m asking price, Pepe’s agents rejected the personal terms and preferred to strike a deal with Arsenal instead.

Much of it was down to the commission, totalling €10m, that the Partenopei would’ve had to pay the representatives.

With Real Madrid still refusing to release James Rodriguez on loan with option to buy, Napoli are going back to a target first mentioned in January.

According to Calciomercato.com, Tuttosport and Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, they are using the Pepe budget to approach PSV Eindhoven for Lozano.

The Mexico international winger would cost approximately €45m plus bonuses and had been eager to make the move, but the offer was reportedly never above €35m.

Lozano plays a similar position to Pepe – right wing attacking – and turns 24 next week, last season contributing 21 goals and 12 assists in 40 competitive games for PSV.
