Lorenzo Pellegrini admits ‘there is a feeling at Roma since Jose Mourinho arrived that I’ve never felt before’ and they believe in silverware this season.
The captain scored a brace in this evening’s 5-1 Europa Conference League win over CSKA Sofia at the Stadio Olimpico.

That included a spectacular curling lob into the far top corner from the edge of the box.
“It went well, but the important thing is that the ball goes in the net,” Pellegrini told Sky Sport Italia.
CSKA Sofia had taken the early shock lead when Graham Carey pounced on a defensive error.
“They took us by surprise and it was important to turn this around.”
Roma have now won all six games played under Mourinho between Serie A and the Conference League, which has the fans and players fired up.
“This is just the beginning. There is something special at Trigoria this year, a feeling since Mourinho arrived that I’ve never felt before at this club. We have to continue like this and keep improving if we want to win something.
“You can just sense something special that I personally have not felt before at Roma.”
That’s a finish from right out of the top drawer from Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini 😍

…If only Conte had announced his plan to leave before the end of last season, Mou would have definitely been back to his only love. Inter Milano’s doors are still open to you Sir.
