Luca Pellegrini seems set for a return to Juventus after his stint on loan at Genoa, with Gianluca Frabotta possibly moving in the opposite direction.
Tuttosport reports Pellegrini seems set to be the back-up for Alex Sandro, who should stay when Max Allegri returns to Juventus ahead of 2021-22.
The year on loan with Genoa was not as good as the period with Cagliari, as the 22-year-old struggled to find continuity due to injuries.
He only played 12 games in 2020-21, but Allegri has already shown faith in Pellegrini and the newspaper believes the coach will want to give him a chance at the Allianz Stadium next season.
Frabotta, on the other hand, has been linked with a move away from the Bianconeri and could end up at the Grifone this summer, but Atalanta are also considering making a move.
Frabotta played 15 times under Andrea Pirlo in 2020-21, but the 22-year-old seems set for a future elsewhere.
