Luca Pellegrini completed a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt, Andrea Petagna left Napoli for Monza and Antonio Candreva kicked off a new adventure with Salernitana.

Serie A clubs are starting to speed up in the transfer market as they look to finalise any deals before the transfer market draws to a close at the end of this month.

Pellegrini officially joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan deal from Juventus today, being the short-term replacement for Filip Kostic, whose contract was officially deposited by the Bianconeri today.

Napoli sent Petagna to the newly promoted Monza on a €2.5m loan deal with a €10m conditional obligation to buy clause attached, dependant on the club’s survival from relegation.

Newly promoted Cremonese picked up 22-year-old goalkeeper Gianluca Saro from Serie C outfit Crotone.

  1. Not keeping Pellegrini at Juve is a big mistake. He should be our starting left back. Instead we are stuck with Sandro.
