Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini doesn’t believe Champions League opponents Juventus are in ‘crisis’.

The Bianconeri have lost their first two League games for the first time since 1912, and will face City in Europe on September 15.

“Juventus have won the Scudetto for the last four consecutive seasons,” Pellegrini reminded reporters at the UEFA coaching forum in Nyon.

“They have a strong team. Crisis? What crisis? The season has just begun, and the League is the League, the Champions League is different.

“European competitions are a different story. We’re not underestimating Juventus, who reached the final yesterday. I don’t think the defeats to Udinese and Roma count for anything.

“We know it will be tough, and the same is true of Sevilla, who can be the surprise in a very tough group.

“Alvaro Morata? He’s very good, but Allegri has a lot of other champions. We’ll have to be careful.”
