Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini was named Player of the Season in the Conference League by UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel.

The Giallorossi won the tournament with a 1-0 victory over Feyenoord in Tirana on Wednesday evening, decided by Nicolò Zaniolo.

Pellegrini came out on top in the list of most valuable players in the competition, as confirmed by UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel.

The 25-year-old found the net five times in 12 Conference League games, including the preliminary round, four in 10 matches from group stage to Final.

He also scored in the semi-final against Leicester City.

UEFA’s panel also picked the Team of the Season, including four Roma players, Pellegrini, Tammy Abraham, Chris Smalling and Rui Patricio.
