Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has a fever and is reportedly in doubt for Sunday’s derby della Capitale.
According to ANSA, the Italy international won’t take part to a meeting with Rome major Roberto Gualtieri this morning due to fever.
Pellegrini had had symptoms of pharyngitis before last night’s match against Vitesse, but his condition have reportedly worsened this morning.
The 25-year-old was subbed off in the stoppages of last night’s 1-1 draw against Vitesse which allowed the Giallorossi to qualify for the Conference League quarter-finals. He is expected to be part of the Italy squad that will play in the World Cup play-offs next week.
Not another drop out. Pellegrini is an excellent player but is often sick or injured. This is definitely not good news for us.
