Italy and Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini could sit out this evening’s Lithuania clash with a knee problem.

Reports in Italy claim Pellegrini picked up a knock during yesterday’s training session and may not be eligible to play against Lithuania this evening.

The Roma captain was supposed to be included in the starting XI, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roberto Mancini could drop him.

Pellegrini played 64 minutes at the Ennio Tardini against Ian Baraclough’s side on Thursday.
