Graziano Pellè explains why he came to Parma, what the future may hold and what connects Roberto D’Aversa to Antonio Conte.
The former Italy international returned to Serie A after a spell in China with Shandong Luneng in January.
“My contract was running down, so in agreement with Shandong Luneng, we decided to part ways after four-and-a-half years of success,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Parma proved they wanted me. I spoke to the new President, Krause, and he really impressed me, so I accepted this challenge.

“My contract was running down, so in agreement with Shandong Luneng, we decided to part ways after four-and-a-half years of success,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Parma proved they wanted me. I spoke to the new President, Krause, and he really impressed me, so I accepted this challenge.
“He is an extremely positive person who catapulted himself into this environment and brought this incredible sense of enthusiasm.”
The Ducali are in penultimate place, but performances have improved since D’Aversa returned in place of Fabio Liverani.
“D’Aversa expects a great deal from the team. We get along well, as we both have a strong work ethic. He has a similar approach to Antonio Conte, as both of them would work 24 hours a day if they could.
“These are coaches who give their soul to the job, they are honest and work on details.”
