Southampton striker Graziano Pellè has “another dream come true” with his first senior Italy call-up.

The former Feyenoord centre-forward was brought in for the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Malta on October 10 and 13.

“Another dream came true, I missed so much this color on me!” wrote Pellè on Twitter.

“TNX to my family, staff + team from Feyenoord & Saints.”

He posted a picture of himself in the Under-21 side celebrating with Giorgio Chiellini, Riccardo Montolivo and Antonio Nocerino.

Pellè has played for Italy at Under-20, Under-21 and Olympics levels, but despite scoring 50 goals in 57 games for Feyenoord he was always ignored.

The 29-year-old never quite made his mark in Serie A, struggling for goals at Lecce, Catania, Crotone, Cesena, AZ Alkmaar, Parma and Sampdoria.
