Brazil icon Pele believes Kaka and Robinho would have played an important role in the Brazil World Cup squad, had they been selected.

The Milan duo were left out of Coach Luis Felipe Scolari’s 23-man selection and, though the former striker is happy with his country’s squad, he believes it is a little inexperienced.

“The choices Scolari has made are good but it is a very young team,” Pele is quoted as saying by MilanNews.it.

“There are players who have not been included like Kaka and Robinho who have important experience.

“Maybe they would have been good for the group.”
