“But we want to continue in the Europa League, we hope to advance to the quarter-finals.”

Roma sit fourth in Serie A after 26 games and are fighting for a place in the Champions League next season.

The Giallorossi are 12 points behind League leaders Inter, with Milan and Juventus at second and third respectively.

“This year, it’s a different championship than in recent years, that was characterised by Juventus’ domination,” Pedro said.

“I think this is improving the level and the competitiveness in Serie A. There are many very strong teams. We’ll see who wins this years.”
