The Bianconeri were reported to be targeting a winger in this summer’s window, losing out on Juan Iturbe to Roma and apparent interest in Alexis Sanchez proving fruitless.

However, Catalan newspaper Sport are headlining today that the Turin club could move for Spanish international Pedro in January.

Despite being a regular for Barcelona over the last few seasons, Luis Suarez’s introduction from October is expected to be at the 27-year-old’s expense.

Sport states that Pedro’s release clause is set at €150m, but Tuttosport suggest Barcelona would be willing to negotiate with Juve, rather than risk losing the player on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of next season.

Pedro is not believed to be the Old Lady’s main target, however, with Sport reporting that Juve would only bid for the Barca man should they be unable to secure the signing of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
